  • What does Double Occupancy Price mean?
    Double Occupancy Price is the amount one person pays when sharing a room with another person.

  • What does Single Occupancy Price mean?
    Single Occupancy Price is the amount one person pays when they are in a room alone.

  • What does Double Occupancy mean?
    Double Occupancy means two people share the same hotel room.

  • What does Single Occupancy mean?
    Single Occupancy means only one person is in a hotel room.

  • Will you match me with a roommate if I want to pay a double occupancy rate?
    No, Wiles West does not match anyone with a roommate; those traveling alone will need to pay the single occupancy rate.

  • Can I change my single occupancy reservation to double occupancy should I find a traveling companion?
    If the room you are registered for will accommodate the double occupancy, or the hotel still has rooms that will accommodate double occupancy, yes.

  • When does Spring Training start?
    Both the starting and ending dates for Spring Training change from year to year and are not known until schedules are released some time in the Fall.

  • How long does Spring Training run?
    The length of Spring Training changes from year to year and is not known until schedules are released some time in the Fall.

  • When does the Spring Training schedule come out?
    There is no "full Spring Training schedule" as such.   Each team releases their schedule independently from the others on dates scattered from September through December, with most being released in the two weeks following the World Series.

  • How do I make package reservations using a credit card?

  • What is a floating reservation?
    A floating reservation is a reservation made prior to a teams schedule being released with actual arrival and departure dates determined after the schedule becomes available.

  • Why would I want a floating reservation?
    A very long list of other events take place that coincide with Spring Training, making it the busiest travel time for Phoenix.   The dates those events take place are already known and people attending them are already making hotel reservations.   Phoenix WILL be full in March.   It isn't a question of if, it's a question of when.   If, at the time your teams schedule is released, a 300 room hotel only has 30 rooms left on one of the nights you want to be there, your floating reservation, made before the schedule was released, has priority over someone wanting to make reservations after the release.   -   Additionally, floating reservations made with a minimum deposit of $330.00/person no later than Aug. 20, will get 7% off the full price of any Spring Training package (including any add on).

  • Do you have group rates?
    Yes, group rates are available by special arrangement; call - 928-595-2250 for details.

  • What does a package include?
    All packages include: airport (or other Greater Phoenix location of your choice) pick up & drop off; all lodging - centrally located to all 10 Spring Training stadiums; all meals - breakfast at the hotel, lunch typically at the stadium & dinner on the town; morning sightseeing excursions to local attractions; game tickets - as close to home plate in the shade as possible for any of your teams games not just home games; transportation to all scheduled events; driver/escort; and a good time being had by all.

  • Does the package include airfare?
    No, our guests arrive from around the world, making it impossible to offer a standard package price that includes airfare.

  • Can I get a refund if I have to cancel?
    Yes and no.   Refunds are determined by the date you cancel.   For refund details see: Payment and Refund Policy.   (Package cancelation insurance is available if you wish to purchase it).

  • Do you offer cancelation insurance?
    Yes, we offer cancelation insurance on our packages only. It does not cover airfare or other travel plans you might make beyond the package you have purchased from us.

  • Can I get tickets only?
    Yes, but not through us.   Wiles West is a company offering quality, escorted, all inclusive travel packages (and step-on guide services) across the American Southwest since 1984, with baseball Spring Training among them.   We do not sell individual game tickets.   Individual game tickets can be purchased either through the stadium where the game is being played or through the team whose home stadium it is.

  • Is it possible to add a visit to The Grand Canyon while I'm there?
    Yes, a Grand Canyon daytrip or overnight trips are available to add on to your Spring Training stay, either by replacing morning sightseeing and a game or by adding an additional day.

  • How do I reserve an out of town daytrip?

  • Is it possible to see other places in Arizona or are packages for Spring Training only?
    Yes, a daytrip or overnight trips are available to add on to your Spring Training stay, either by replacing morning sightseeing and a game or by adding an additional day.

  • How do I reserve a package longer than 7 days?

  • Can I add a game to my arrival or departure day?
    Yes, adding a game on your arrival day would require an arrival no later than 10:30am.   Adding a game to your departure day would require a departure no earlier than 7:30pm.

  • What airport should I fly into?
    Phoenix Sky Harbor is the most convenient to the hotel for commercial flights.   Deer Valley for private aircraft.

  • How do I let you know which days I will be there?
    When making arrangements to pay by check, the person you will be talking to will ask.   When making payment by credit card there will be a box that asks for the dates.   Should you happen to miss that box, we will ask when we email you your receipt.

  • Where is the hotel located?
    The hotel is in the I-17 corridor, centrally located to all 10 Spring Training stadiums.

  • Do I need to buy game tickets?
    No, all tickets are included in the package price.

  • Should I rent a car?
    No, the package has full daily schedules and includes transportation to all scheduled events.   If you will be needing transportation after your stay with us, we would be happy to get you to a rental office.

  • Can I be picked up or dropped off somewhere other than the airport?
    Yes, pick up and drop off can be anywhere in Greater Metro Phoenix.

  • Are packages commissionable to travel agents?
    No, Wiles West deals with travel agents on a group contract basis only.   Other conditions may apply.
