First and last nights lodging in Phoenix.   Four nights on or near the North Rim.

The trip between Phoenix and the North Rim allows for stops in the Sonoran and Painted Deserts, volcanic landscapes and the Echo and Vermillion Cliffs.

Elevations along the North Rim and adjoining Kaibab Plateau range between 8,000 & 9,000 ft. affording wide swaths of alpine forest and meadow before plunging into the unrivalled rugged beauty of The Grand Canyon.

This trip will take you to popular overlooks, but, the emphasis is on seldom visited locals.   The odds of observing wildlife is very high.
